We’re here to spread some love and show you some fabulous pics snapped and styled by Ruby Roux on Instagram.
Originally, we were chatting to Ruby about disability representation in our imagery which is something that’s very close to our hearts at Flare Street. So obviously we jumped at the chance to have our flares featured on her!
We thought we’d take this chance to tell you all about our pants & why we’ve been offering disability discounts over the years, but also what makes them a great item in terms of accessible clothing:
- Pull on, no zips, buttons, clips or strings
- Elastic waist band which allows for fluctuating belly’s, bloating, stages of pregnancy, post-operation comfort. Comfort in general!
- They’re designed with a fabulous shape to them but they don’t cling or are too tight on the body
- Movement focused, they’re super, super stretchy!
- They make you feel fabulous even when you might not be feeling it (plus the compliments our flare-lovers receive in them is enough to put a pep in anyone’s step!)
We’ve had so many flare-lovers over the years tell us how handy our flares are for people with disabilities and it makes us so happy to hear that feedback! Two of the girls behind the day to day operations of Flare Street live with it too and so we truly know, when you’re needing a pick-me-up, pop on a pair of our flares!
